The Veterinary Review, April 8, 2021

There really isn’t much to say this week. All we did as far as vet visits are concerned was our routine acupuncture visit on Tuesday with Jason and Ferrell Brown, and a vaccine update visit for Professor X.

Jason was a very good boy this week, giving us no trouble at all during his acupuncture. I fully believe it was because I left Ferrell in his carrier while we were waiting on Doctor Corona to come in. Poor Ferrell, he prefers to get out and roam around, but I guess he won’t be doing that from now on to prevent me from getting bitten by Mr. Jason!

Ferrell himself was extremely wiggly. He did not want to be still during the placement - not jumping from pain, because it doesn’t hurt (I’ve had it done) just being restless. He was restless through almost the entire waiting time until about the last 5 minutes. I guess he didn’t get to roam around earlier, so he wanted to roam then! I will have to come up with a solution that suits them both and yet does not waste Doc’s time.

Professor X

Professor X just had a quick exam and his vaccines updated. He is headed to another rescue group - one that does mainly adoptions. We are bringing in two cats that will live here permanently and sending off three wonderful adoptable cats to find their new homes. I know we did vaccines on Teddy and Triton last week for this exchange, but I decided to keep Triton awhile longer until he is walking better. Thus our boys going off are Teddy, Tofu, and Professor X! As always, we will miss them terribly, but they deserve to have homes and people of their own.

See you next week!
